THE TREATMENTThe treatment to alleviate the problem is basically quite simple, safe and specific. There is a minimum of disturbance to clothing and the required adjustment is usually done by applying thumb pressure. Other simple techniques and methods can also be applied if required. The emphasis is on sorting the cause as simply and easily as possible. Normally only two visits are required and any subsequent trouble is usually because the twist on the vertebra has re-occurred for various reasons and normally requires only one visit for re-correction. However, it must be emphasized that although two visits initially and one visit subsequently are normally sufficient, if there is any residual pain or discomfort whatsoever, or if the trouble recurs in any form after 10-14 days, then it is very important to return for another consultation. It should not be forgotten that even though the spine has been re-aligned and should then settle down, there may be other contributory factors which are involved in the trouble and may only become truly apparent upon a subsequent examination, when appropriate treatment and/or advice would be given. Back trouble is unfortunately not something, which can (in the true sense) be claimed to be cured. It may trouble you sometime in the future, perhaps months, and even years; but if you at least understand what the basic trouble is and know that you can have it treated easily, then `What's the problem?’. The cost of fees for treatment is always a delicate point as I try to shy away from being labeled commercial or selling a commodity. However, as many people are naturally concerned about the cost I have decided that I should publish my fee. The cost is £80 for the first two treatments and £40 per treatment thereafter, and as I have already said, two visits initially are normally all that is required. The second visit is usually after 10 to 14 days to allow the effects of the first treatment to settle. |
